We acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Country in this area.

We acknowledge the longevity of their intimate knowledge and leadership systems that have, and continue to bring dignity to and harmony among all people and the world around us. We have much to learn from this.

We strongly support the need for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ voices to be foregrounded in decisions that affect them, and any Community Independent candidate we endorse will also need to show this support.
